Get Ready for an ACAwesome Year!

Welcome back!

It's a great time to be an ACA Griffin!  I hope you had a restful break and that you are excited to come together to support students and each other in learning, growing, and achieving! I am honored to be joining you as your Director of Academic Services, and I look forward to meeting each of you.

This year, ACA will be welcoming 15 new staff members.  These professionals will attend New Staff Orientation on Wednesday, July 31 and Thursday, August 1st. At these sessions,  they will gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be a part of our #griffintribe. 

 

On Friday,  August 2nd, our whole tribe will come together at the newly enhanced Middle School campus where we will enjoy a fun-filled morning of food and inspiring messages.  Don't be late:  breakfast will begin at 8:30 am.   Dress is Business Casual (no jeans, please).   No computers needed - just your smile, sense of humor, and love for your tribe!

 

Please take a moment to read through the Staff Development schedule and to familiarize yourself with the content of the other tabs on this site.  I'll be adding resources to it throughout the year to support our professional learning.   We are all teachers and learners, and as a tribe we thrive!

If you have not completed the mandatory compliance courses, please take time to fulfill this requirement.  All documentation is to be turned in to your campus Administrator Assistant by August 13, 2019.
